The 231SM300-MA bearing is a split self-aligning roller bearing. Its structure mainly consists of a split outer ring, an inner ring, a set of precision spherical rollers, and a cage. The key feature is its split design - the outer ring is divided into two halves along the axial direction, which can be directly installed on the shaft through the split surface without the need to disassemble other components on the shaft system, significantly simplifying the installation and maintenance process of large equipment. The bearing is made of high-quality high-carbon chromium steel, and the rollers and raceways undergo precise grinding and heat treatment to ensure dimensional accuracy and geometric stability. The cage is usually made of brass or steel and is used to evenly separate and guide the movement of the rollers, reducing friction and wear. This bearing has a spherical raceway, enabling it to have automatic self-aligning performance, which can compensate for the angular deviation between the shaft and the bearing housing.
